NO NO NO . Canelo's Custom Paint Works HAS NOT FALLEN OFF...quite the opposite!! We've got 69 GTO in final metal work ..Accord PURPLe job going into paint ..The62 Nova restomod getting fab work.. and parts are stacking up for the 2v nitrous build !! A couple dealer cars and a SCCA car on site too.. BUT WE ARE HERE TO TALK ABOUT THIS!!!!!Built z28 heading to Bristol for the Optima Batteries street car challenge. The car is built pretty stout.. A big OL' LS some amazing suspension and brakes and electronics fuel delivery and even the exhaust!!
THE MUST HAVES ..it had to be one solid color .arches needed to be widened to fit them big ol tires . shave the gas door -driver side quarter . had to be nice ,smooth and same color ..flat olive drab ( GO ARMY BEAT NAVY ) And we had less than a week 5 DAYS to make this happen... we went a little overboard on shaping the body lines and the arches esp with metal work ..went into some fiber filler then poly primer and some old school buff colored primer !! And these were all the right call for this project .Jenny preps cars like no one else in the buisness.. we love this stuff..back to the accord ..the gto ..and the 62 nova and please contact us to talk about your project ..this small shop has grown into something amazing in its first year in this location ..we had some curve s thrown our way but we kept it together ..worked through the issues and are way better for it.. WE ARE NOT going to stop. We try to get better at what we do and how we do it with every project we take on. We wish thi build lots of luck on its journey ..yall better watch out.. car ain't no joke.

Mustang was hit in the front hard ! WE ARE NOT A COLLISION SHOP . But we took this project in and made it happen ..with an aftermarket body kit and an after Market hood both not even close to fitting we had our work cut out.. a few late nights and some custom made bumper brackets and a retro fit of an HID into a halogen headlight housing... it's safe to say we got this one going on its way.. we appreciate all buisness we receive..but we are not a collision shop .. and will not be open arms to another rail and frame pull..leave it to the big shops ..we like high quality.. high integrity work - not heavy hits ..insurance companies aren't welcome in our process .we make it affordable for everyone to have the car they want!

This all black fx was in the shop for a custom fit ground effects kit... some bumper repair and a respray of passenger side doors ..a sand and buff and seal of entire car .. some detail work and it is stunning. Great project we do a lot of custom bumpers and hoods..this was great for the team

E39 m5- holy grail car In for some preservation! denali xl rust repair and roll pan addition.. murdered out fx project ..69 gto in strip getting ready for epoxy and some proper metal work and a full resto .. red gt is the shops new race car project ... WE ARE NOT a body shop .we are a custom car autohaus ..bespoke style service... industry standard work .quality products and service .lifetime warranty on our work . No one in the valley is putting out more colorful ..high quality .. projects ..paint work or service!! Canelos
BTW it's a ONE man show here. Jenny runs the company and is the best prepper around .MY pup is the supervisor and our customers are our priority. We do not price via text or email .Again we do not have "just a basic paint job" we don't cut a corner to make a dollar .WE are priced better than anyone around...

69 gto in strip .WE DO NOT CARE HOW YOU STRIP YOUR CARS what YOU or your "boys dad" who's been doing this for 20 years would do it. This is the safest .most effective way to learn this car inch by inch ..what's what under all the filler ..the bad patch work the rot etc.. we use a product that will forever be a secret and it ain't "aircraft stripper" it is conscious of the metal and of the environment..we treat the stripped metal with osphoric acid for a period of time to kill as much rust and oxidation as we can .next we epoxy ..and hit the patch and metal work head on .THE RIGHT WAY . SIMPLY SAND AND PAINT for an icon like this would of been almost criminal. This car had a few failed attempts .we want a metal canvas .. a solid foundation to start on .we don't want to win artist of the year shaping body filler .. we want to showcase our abilities and do what's right by the customer and the industry . STOP USING BODY FILLER TO REPAIR RUST . LEARN TO SHAPE METAL!!!.PRESERVE THESE CARS FOR THE LONG TERM ! Canelo's Custom Paint Works has been doing this for a lifetime .we have many show winners out there..many happy customers and many projects done over 10 or 15 years ago and they still look as good as they did day 1 .while the gto soaks the M5 surgery can begin .A delicate process of such an amazing car .pics to come! Come see us. Come talk .come get an education. We don't think we are better than anyone..we just refuse to be part of the reputation of poor quality the valley has to offer.
