Today I drove the MGB to the “Traghetto di Leonardo” the only one of the four remaining ferries designed by Leonardo Da Vinci to cross the Adda river (in Italy) and connecting the Lecco side with the Bergamo side of the river.
Unfortunately the ferry was not operating due to bureaucratic issues.
I hope to be able in future to bring the MGB on to the Leonardo’s Ferry and post new pictures.

Sir Stirling Moss è andato avanti, così come era solito fare nella sua carriera automobilistica, davvero sensazionale. Con lui, nel giorno di Pasqua 2020, scompare non solo l’ultimo vincitore esistente della 1000 Miglia, ma pure colui che ne deteneva il record imbattuto di velocità, stabilito nel 1955. Sulla Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR - in compagnia di Denis Jenkinson, che gli legge le note - il pilota nato a Londra nel 1929 vinse alla strabiliante media di 157,65 km/h. Nell’epoca nella quale le corse per vetture sport erano più famose di quelle di F1, Moss entra nella leggenda: ancor oggi, nel regno Unito, quando qualcuno va troppo forte in macchina si sente chiedere: «Chi pensi di essere, Stirling Moss?».
