MYTHS vs FACTS β Car Selling Edition ππ₯
We asked the Founder 4 quick questions. Hereβs the actual explanation π
β MYTH 1: Online valuation jo price dikhata hai, vahi actual selling price hota hai.
Not really. Online valuation tools usually give you an estimated price range based on the data available to them. But your carβs actual selling price depends on its condition, variant, kilometres, service history, accident history, location and current market demand.
So online valuation = starting point, not the final selling price.
β
FACT 1: Complete service history resale value badha sakti hai.
Absolutely! A proper service history shows the buyer that the car has been maintained well. It also builds trust because the carβs maintenance record is documented.
Better records = better confidence = better chances of a good resale value.
β MYTH 2: Low kilometres = automatically high resale value.
Not always. A low-kilometre car that has been poorly maintained can still have problems. On the other hand, a higher-kilometre car with a clean service record and good condition can sometimes be a better buy.
Kilometres matter, but condition matters too.
β
FACT 2: Same model ki car ki price different cities mein different ho sakti hai.
Yes! Demand and supply are different in every city. A car that is in high demand in Pune may not have the same demand in another city. Local market preferences and the availability of similar cars also affect the price.
Same car. Same model. Different city. Different price.
