Tata Nexon
Tata's Nexon is a stylish sub-four-meter small SUV. The Nexon is available in a variety of engine-gearbox configurations and can be acquired at a variety of price points. The Tata Nexon is the first Indian vehicle to receive a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP. The 2020 upgrade includes new aesthetics and BS6-spec engines.
Car Exteriors:
The 2020 Tata Nexon receives a new grille, slimmer headlights, and a redesigned bumper with C-shape, surrounding the boxes and the integrated bull bar in the lower light cluster.
With a new bonnet, the tri-arrow design in the lower air intake adds a new touch.
The C-pillars on the 2020 Tata Nexon have been blacked and the name "Nexon '' is now written in chrome across the back.
The Union Jack-like tail lights also have a new design with the Nexon facelift featuring false vents at the bottom of the rear bumper to give it a larger appearance.
Cabin comfort and interior:
The newly crafted chrome-lined vents follow the design of the solid-looking dash with the free-standing screen in the centre.
The sleek, flat-bottomed steering wheel is new, and the instrument cluster now has a digital LCD panel with a tri-arrow motif.
The seats in the front are broad and at a reasonable height with the addition of the new sunroof.
Legroom is adequate, and the seat back has been lowered to provide additional headroom.
There is a 12-volt connection on the parcel shelf, and there is 350 litres of luggage capacity in the back, with the option to fold the seats for more space.
Engine and Speed:
A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine powers Tata's best-selling SUV.
The three-cylinder engine gains 10 horsepower, bringing its maximum output to 120 horsepower.
Tata Motors has recently revised the BS6-compliant 110hp 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Both engines come with 6-speed manual or AMT automatic transmissions, and there's also an all-electric Tata Nexon EV.
Sport, City, and Eco are the three drive modes available on both engines.
Safety Features:
Tata Nexon has ISOFIX child seats, dual front airbags, and ABS with EBS as standard safety features. ESP, Traction Control, Roll Over Mitigation, Hill Hold Control, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Pre Fill, Brake Disc Wiping, rain sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system, and auto lighting are amongst its other safety features.Read Less
