Strengthening the Startup & Innovation Ecosystem for Future Mobility

NATRAX – National Automotive Test Tracks is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, marking an important step towards fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and startup development in the mobility ecosystem.

The MoU was signed on 16 September 2026 at EKA–Pinnacle Mobility Solutions, Chakan, bringing together two organisations committed to creating stronger pathways for startups to access incubation, mentorship, industry networks, testing capabilities and commercialisation opportunities.

A key focus of this collaboration is Indore and nearby areas, where NATRAX and AIC Pinnacle aim to take concrete steps towards strengthening the startup ecosystem by building stronger linkages between startups, industry, testing infrastructure and institutional stakeholders.

With NATRAX’s advanced automotive testing infrastructure and AIC Pinnacle’s entrepreneurship and incubation ecosystem, this collaboration aims to create meaningful opportunities for emerging mobility technologies to move from innovation to validation and towards commercialisation.
This MoU marks the beginning of a broader collaboration, and we look forward to working together to enable startups, accelerate innovation and contribute to the development of a stronger mobility ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh and beyond.

National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), a division of NAB and an autonomous body under the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI), signed an MoU with AUMOVIO in the presence of Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Additional Secretary, MHI, at GPOA-3, New Delhi, for setting up a world-class, fully equipped automotive workshop-cum-off-site office at the NATRAX facility.

The facility will allow AUMOVIO to position its development teams close to the testing zone, cutting down on longer development lead times and advancing the launches of important projects and programs. NATRAX has taken important steps to facilitate the industry in setting up these workshops to allow them to capitalise on the strength of world-class track and lab infrastructure to become globally competitive.

The Additional Secretary congratulated Mr. Prashant Doreswamy, MD and Country Head, AUMOVIO, and Dr. Manish Jaiswal, Director, NATRAX, on this initiative and hoped this step will pave the way to meet the larger objective of making Indian test agencies a global hub for automotive testing and development.
