More Things to Avoid While Driving ⚠️

Ignoring blind spots
Mirrors don’t show everything. Always do a quick shoulder check.

Coasting downhill in neutral
It reduces your control over the vehicle.

Using cruise control on wet roads
It can make loss of traction harder to manage.

Driving on very low fuel regularly
It can leave you stranded and may affect the fuel system over time.

Rushing through yellow lights
Trying to beat the signal can create unnecessary risk

CNG blending is coming - but unlike E20,
existing CNG car owners may not need to worry about engine compatibility.

Under the GOBARdhan Scheme,
CBG blending will gradually rise from 3% to 5%, making CNG greener without changing your car or refuelling setup.

Would greener fuel make you consider a CNG car?

Would you buy a 5-year-old used EV?

Before buying a used electric car, check:

• EV battery health and remaining capacity
• Real-world driving range
• Fast-charging history
• Accident or waterlogging damage
• Transferable battery warranty
• Service and repair records
• Battery test from an OEM or trusted EV centre

A used EV’s resale value depends more on battery health than kilometres driven.

A verified EV battery health report can help buyers, banks and insurers determine fair value.

A 5-star safety rating doesn’t make you invincible.

It means the car performed well in crash tests for adult protection, child protection and safety features.
But airbags work best with seatbelts, and no safety rating can compensate for overspeeding or careless driving.

A safer car helps- but responsible driving protects you even more.
Buckle up, control your speed and drive smart.

What are CAFE III norms?

• CAFE III stands for Corporate Average Fuel Economy Phase III
• It checks the average fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions of a car company’s entire passenger-vehicle fleet
• Proposed start date: April 1, 2027
• Target: Reduce fleet emissions from around 113 g/km to 78.9 g/km by FY2032
• EVs, hybrids, flex-fuel, ethanol, biofuel and CBG vehicles will get compliance benefits
• Hatchbacks, sedans and personal-use SUVs will be covered
• Missing the target may lead to penalties

Will CAFE III make cars cleaner and cheaper to run?

Tata may have taken the top two spots, but Maruti still had the strongest presence in the Top 10.

Punch and Nexon led June 2026 sales, while six Maruti models showed why Indian buyers continue to value mileage, easy service and strong resale.

So, who’s the boss - Tata or Maruti?
