OCTANE-X Super Mileage Vehicle [SMV] The winning vehicle is the one that travels the farthest using the least amount of fuel.

An iconic educational project, Shell Eco-marathon Asia challenges competing student teams to design and build the most energy-efficient vehicle possible. Held in Europe for over 25 years and more recently in the Americas, the Shell Eco-marathon came to Asia for the first time in July 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 2012 marks the 3rd edition of Shell Eco-marathon Asia. Our team of eight students has been selected to participate, and is working hard on our gasoline vehicle in prototype category, when we will try to beat the 2011 Asia record of a staggering 1607.9 km on one litre of gasoline.
