Still farting about playing whack a mole with problems on the Pontiac and Daimler V12 but I am creating an ever shortening list .
I had to replace all the Daimlers brakes to get it to stop properly , the master cylinder , the servo, calipers , hoses , pipes and all the pads etc and inevitably it lead to other jobs like radius arms various pins and bushes and so on .
The Pontiac is so close now it’s frustrating, but getting the time to chase them out is the issue .
The Fulvia has made steady progress and is finally ready for paint .
I put a base coat on to …one , make sure the car is straight and two, it will give me a better finish on the top coat once it’s all rubbed down .
E type is a new arrival and is not here for bodywork just sorting out everything else after the body repairs were done elsewhere.
That might be a challenge but I am fond of E types so happy to help.
Lastly no picture today but the Corvette is running again after a big row with the fuel pump and carburettor that absorbed a few days of trial and error stripping and reassembly on a repeat loop.
I will post a pic of that soon ,

One of our clients has decided to part ways with his absolutely stunning 1974 Morgan 4/4 sports two seater to make room for a new purchase as he only has one garage space .
This car was beautifully nut and bolt restored in Germany and comes with a full restoration folder showing the work that was done .
The owner took a lot of time looking before finding this car that ticked all the boxes.
It has a Ford 1600cc Kent pushrod engine in it so maintenance is easy and it has a decent turn of speed for such a light car .
I cannot stress enough just how tidy this car is so if you want a Morgan and want the very best please get in touch

Today we finally finished the last bits of welding on the Fulvia Zagato .
I have most of the paint preparation complete now so just the bonnet and tailgate left to prepare.
It’s been a bit of journey to get this one here .

This Wolseley is a very handsome car and very large too.
To be exact it is a 1937 Wolseley super six 21hp and that equates to around 3.0 litres of ohv straight six classiness .
A very rare car too and one of around ten left in the world
I am recommisioning this one at the moment after a number of years in storage.

What sun I hear you all collectively murmur but I saw it today even if it is freezing cold .
Back to the Pontiac Firebird next week to try and get it concluded.
It’s all yanks these days for some reason but in a good way .

Little roundup of what’s been going on lately.
There’s a big push to get the Daimler double six finished after parts delays and also a real push to get the Pontiac Firebird reassembled as it’s just taking too long .
The hours that go into these cars boggles the mind .
The Fulvia is taking shape too , as usual with old Italian cars it’s not just the obvious accident damage that had to be repaired it was what lurked beneath that ate the hours .
As I have said before we are not taking on any further work due to a full schedule a complete lack of staff and the inability to find same because I honestly think they are just not out there .
A rather sad situation .
I’m winding the business back considerably for my own sake .
All work that is currently ongoing or booked will be completed fully and when that’s done in three or four years I will assess the situation further .
I will not post very much going forwards .
