Super night at the Olympia Theatre last with pal Aisling Guidera. Boyslife were so much fun, they brought super energy to the stage while adding some very sentimental moments too. The band Paul James Project were excellent, an Indie/Rock vibe with some powerful vocals, very emotional. A surprise guest appearance from Keira Dignam definitely pulled at the heart strings when she sang Crazy World, incredible!
RuntheRed put on such a brilliant performance, effortlessly polished, each song landing with beautiful intention.
The band moved through a lovely blend of older songs and newer material, and you could really hear the emotional intensity throughout that makes their music so easy to connect with.
Ciara Duffy ❤️ who has put the work in down through the years was an absolute joy to watch, her vocals expressive and relaxed, making it feel really personal. She has a way of drawing you in to the lyrics without trying too hard, and you could feel the audience completely with her from start to finish. The band were super tight too, really supporting the songs without overplaying, just letting the music breathe in all the right places.
RuntheRed is definitely a rising band with their well crafted songs that has a dreamy, indie-pop traditional edge.
Overall, it was such a fantastic night, uplifting, and full of heart, the kind of gig you come away from feeling really glad you were there.
