ool. Owner and Creative Director, Carmel McKiernan has been encouraging the progression of young people's personal skills over the last 20 years. Working in a variety of schools, Carmel has always had a passion, dedication and a vision that led her to set up Limelight Theatrics in 2009. Research shows that children who are involved in the arts are four times more likely to be recognised for academic achievement, as well as having enhanced cognitive, motor, and social development. The skills developed in the performing arts provide a solid platform for young people to take on greater things in their future. The Limelight Theatrics programmes offer continued learning outside of school, with a core philosophy of ensuring students enjoy their experience and have fun, all while setting them up to reach their full potential. IVA was founded in 2013 by a group of world-class singing teachers who have a combined teaching experience of over 120 years training singers and teachers of singing.
