A great day at the Garage Bravery Event over the weekend at the Radisson Blu in Little Island! 🔧👏

A massive thanks to J.P. D'Arcy - Car Care & Performance for hosting such a well-run and enjoyable event. It was brilliant to meet so many garage owners from across the trade, have a few chats and hear more about their businesses.

We were also delighted to get the chance to showcase our new Trade Portal, along with our pricing, range and the different ways we can support garages day to day.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand for a chat, and well done again to JP and everyone involved in putting together a great event! 🤝

Every business has a story... and this is ours.

From humble beginnings to becoming one of Munster's leading motor factors, it's been built on hard work, great customers and a genuine passion for the motor trade.

In this video, Tadhg shares how it all started, the journey over the years, and what has made Tadhg Hawes Motor Parts what it is today.

We're incredibly proud of where we've come from, but even more excited about where we're going.

Thanks to every customer who's been part of the journey so far—we wouldn't be here without your support.

Have a listen to Tadhg's story below. 👇

When it comes to brakes, reputation matters.

That's why we're delighted to be adding Textar to our range here at Tadhg Hawes Motor Parts.

For years, Textar has built a reputation for supplying premium braking components that garages and technicians trust day in, day out. It's a name that's recognised across the industry for quality, reliability and consistent performance.

Our first stock arrives next week, and we can't wait to get it on the shelves.

A big thanks to the team from VARTA AG for calling out to us this week and putting on a really informative training session.

With modern vehicles becoming more advanced than ever, choosing the right battery isn't as simple as just matching the size anymore. AGM, EFB, conventional... each one has a specific application, and fitting the wrong one can cause all sorts of headaches.

It's training like this that helps us stay up to date, so when you come into us looking for a battery, you can be confident you're getting the right one for your vehicle.

Thanks again to VARTA for taking the time to share their knowledge—we really appreciate it!

Turns out we're a lot better at finding the right car parts than remembering our lines... 😂

We had a fair few bloopers while filming this one, but sure that's all part of it.

One thing that doesn't make the blooper reel though... getting the wrong parts. If we make a mistake, we sort it straight away. Simple as that.

Enjoy the bloopers! 👇

Give us a call if you want to have a chat about setting up a new account and getting access to our trade portal with live pricing.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support a local Irish business. 🔴⚪

Great to see orders piling up for our website! 👏

You may have seen some of our garage centred content in the last few days, we have lots more to come with that in the near future!

At the same time, it's great to see so many of you shopping online at thmp.ie, whether it's for your garage, the workshop or just servicing the car at home.

At the minute we've got up to 15% off Milwaukee Tools throughout July, along with great deals across engine oils, spray paints, garage equipment and thousands of other products ready to order.

We're adding more and more to the website every week, so if you haven't had a look in a while, it's definitely worth another visit.

Head over to www.thmp.ie, have a browse, and as always thanks for your support and if you can't find what you're looking for, just give us a shout. Chances are we've got it in stock!
