In the 1980s, Mercedes-Benz set out to build a van that was light without cutting corners. That goal became the MB100 – a tubular chassis and front-wheel drive giving it agility that heavier vans couldn’t match. Celebrating 130 Years of Transportation.

Engineering excellence, 1899 style. 🛠️🚐

The "Ideal" Van wasn't just a vehicle; it was a masterclass in early innovation. Behind its vintage charm lies the hardware that paved the way for a century of progress:

⚙️ The Powerhouse: A rear-mounted, one-cylinder engine delivering 3.5 hp.

💪 The Capability: Equipped with 3 gears and a payload of up to 250 kg.

🔄 The Versatility: A removable cover allowed it to transform from a commercial worker into a two-seater passenger car.

We are celebrating 130 years of transportation by honoring the pioneers that redefined what a van could be.
