The recent addition of new work projects with some of the world's most recognised car brands has resulted in an urgent requirement for the addition of Trainee Press Operators and General Operators to our Teams at Unit 19 and 27 on Gweedore Business Park.

These are full-time entry/trainee level production roles so no previous experience is required. Full training will be provided on the job.

A positive attitude, good work ethic and a willingness to learn will be key characteristics of the successful candidates.

⚽️🇦🇷🇨🇦Irish Pressings World Cup 2026 🇫🇷🇪🇸⚽️

As we settle back into routine following an eventful summer it is time to look back at some of the highlights.

Over the course of World Cup 2026, we had a hard fought predictions battle covering everything from Group Winners to Top Scorers and everything in between.

In dramatic fashion, our leaders going into the final match were dramatically overhauled by our eventual winner Catherine Curran Shaw. Congrats Catherine on scooping the jackpot - a real dark horse when it comes to football knowledge it seems 💰💵

In runner-up positions we had a 4-way tie with Hugh Rodgers, Ashok Varada, Joe Shaw and Caolan Toman - well done all 👏

Finally, every competition needs someone to prop up the table and in this case it was Vinod Biradar who took the honours.

Thank you to all who participated in what was a bit of fun - roll on the next competition so the slagging can start all over again.

Irish Pressings was delighted yesterday to welcome Ms Eva McCafferty to our premises in Gweedore 😍

Eva is a very special girl and one of An Garda Síochána's Little Blue Heroes. Born with complex needs, Eva regularly requires specialist medical attention at hospitals across the country. A lifeline for Eva and her family in attending these appointments is the services of the BUMBLEance Children's Ambulance Service 🚑

The BUMBLEance is Ireland's only dedicated Children's Ambulance Service, a charity that provides free nationwide journeys for children with serious or life-limiting illnesses, transporting them to and from hospitals, treatment centres, and medical appointments in a safe, caring and fun environment 💚

BUMBLEance is funded entirely from charitable donations and so Eva was onsite with her Aunt Breda Ward to collect the proceeds on behalf of BUMBLEance from Christmas Jumper Day 2025 organised by Catherine Shaw 👏

We would like to thank Eva and Breda for coming to visit and wish to encourage you all to support BUMBLEance in any fundraising efforts as the work that they do is invaluable to many families in our community and beyond 💪

Irish Pressings was delighted to host the VEX Robotics Team from Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair onsite this morning as we wish them well ahead of their journey to St Louis, USA to represent Ireland at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championships 🇮🇪✈️

We were genuinely blown away by the talent, drive and brilliance of this young group of engineers and feel privileged to be able to support them in their endeavours👏👏
