🔧 Another tricky one sorted 🔧

This Renault Megane 1.5 Dci came into the workshop with a persistent fuel system issue that had everyone scratching their heads.

The vehicle was drawing air into the fuel system, making it an extremely time-consuming fault to diagnose. After carrying out extensive testing and methodically eliminating possible causes, the issue was finally traced and repaired.

Sometimes the hardest jobs aren’t replacing parts – they’re finding the actual fault.

The gearbox was fully serviced using a genuine ZF service kit, ensuring correct filtration and the use of high-quality OEM components throughout.

✅ Correct oil filling procedure carried out at the specified temperature
✅ Oil balancing procedure completed

This 2019 Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDi came into the workshop needing a complete engine replacement.

This Nissan Qashqai came in for a full timing belt and water pump replacement. Timing belt changes are one of the most important services you can carry out to help prevent costly engine damage if the belt fails.

Another fault diagnosed and repaired 🔧

This Mk6 Golf came in with the ABS, traction control and ESP lights illuminated.

A quick road test and live data showed the left rear ABS wheel speed sensor signal dropping in and out while driving. At first glance it looked like a faulty sensor, but further inspection found the magnetic ABS ring in the wheel bearing had failed.

The damaged ABS ring had also worn the sensor, so the repair included:
✅ New rear wheel bearing (with integrated ABS ring)
✅ New ABS wheel speed sensor
✅ Fault codes cleared and road tested
✅ Live data confirmed all wheel speed signals were now reading correctly

It’s a good example of why proper diagnostics are so important. Simply replacing the sensor wouldn’t have fixed this one.

- Volkswagen Tiguan we had in for repairs

This 2.0 TDI came into the workshop with a failed turbocharger. Unfortunately, the DPF had also become heavily contaminated with engine oil as a result.

The repair included:

✅ Reconditioned turbocharger fitted

This Caddy came into the workshop needing a good bit of attention.
