2013 Vauxhall Mokka

Carried out regular service. We reckon this fuel filter has more than done its job.

A fault was also found in the parking assist for a parking sensor O/L. Further investigation found the culprit to be a broken wire on a previously repaired parking sensor. Sensor was re-repaired at the customers request. All faults cleared and parking assist working as it should.

2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport

Customer was informed on the service of two leaking injector washers. Booked it back in with us to carry out replacement of said washers.

Injectors removed, cleaned, new washers installed. Head cleaned, and Injector seats recut.

Volkswagen Polo in today for a service. We noticed the handbrake travel was quite excessive, and the service brake wasn't working on the O/S/R.

A strip down of the brakes revealed excessively worn brake shoes, damaged retaining pins, and a seized brake cylinder.
The root cause of the excessive wear on these brakes was due to incorrectly adjusted brake shoes causing them to be constantly held on slightly.

New brake shoes, and fitting kit. Along with correct setup and adjustment of the brakes set this polo right.

BMW 116i left in to us with an intermittent low boost pressure fault.

Diagnosis process revealed an excessive leak between the turbo compressor housing and the core. Further investigation showed a very poor previous repair attempt as pictured, which required replacement of the turbo core and the compressor housing as they were too damaged to reuse. The impeller was also replaced during the turbo reconditioning process.

Saab 9-3 with the Timing chain snapped resulting in 16 bent valves and 16 bent rocker arms. Engine torn down for a partial rebuild.

Customer complained of a screeching/whistling noise while their car was running, getting worse with acceleration.

We diagnosed the noise to be coming from the turbo. The DPF was also inspected prior to fitting the replacement turbo to rule out possibility of it being the cause of turbo failure.

New turbo, oil and oil filter fitted. Another happy customer.
