We recently completed a mast project in Fiji for a Sundeer 60.

This project started with a challenge. The owner had struggled to find a mast maker willing to take the project on. The budget was clear, the boat had limited drawings available, and the work required someone to go back to fundamentals.

So we did.

Mc1 flew to Fiji, measured the boat in detail, brought that information back to the design team, created the required drawings in AutoCAD, and constructed a rig that would fit the yacht flawlessly, all from halfway across the world.

The result was a standard-modulus carbon mast and boom with wire rigging, built from careful measurement, practical design and a willingness to solve the problem properly.

It's great to see the TP 52 Red Bandit MC1 Mast arrive safely in Cogolin, France. It will be prepared and tuned next week so this team can compete in the ORC World.

The Sundeer 60 rig is ready. Each MC1 Spars is assembled with great care in our factory, ensuring that all tolerances are perfect before the rig is disassembled, packaged, and shipped. The Sundeer 60 rig will be transported to Fiji, where our team will step, tune, and conduct sea trials, turning dreams into reality on the open water.
