🚨 ALREADY SHIPPED YOUR CAR TO GHANA? READ THIS! 🇨🇳🚢🇬🇭
1ST OCTOBER 2026: IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR VEHICLE IMPORTERS!
Have you already purchased and shipped your vehicle from China, Japan, the USA or another country?
Are you worried that Ghana's new vehicle importation requirements might affect your shipment?
HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS! ✅
According to the Ghana Standards Authority's revised public notice, vehicles shipped before 1 October 2026 are exempt from the new import requirements, EVEN IF THEY ARRIVE IN GHANA AFTER 1 OCTOBER.
📌 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
✅ SHIPPED BEFORE 1 OCTOBER?
Your vehicle qualifies for the transitional exemption from the new requirements. Existing customs and other applicable importation procedures still apply.
✅ SHIPPING FROM 1 OCTOBER ONWARDS?
Ensure that your vehicle satisfies the applicable Ghana Standards Authority inspection, conformity and documentation requirements before shipment.
📄 IMPORTANT: KEEP YOUR SHIPPING DOCUMENTS!
Retain your Bill of Lading and other relevant shipping records as evidence of when your vehicle was shipped. If your shipment was close to the deadline, confirm its eligibility with the GSA.
🚘 WHAT ABOUT CNB CARS CUSTOMERS?
If your vehicle is already on its way to Ghana, there is no need to assume that the new requirements automatically affect your shipment.
Our team will continue providing available shipping updates and assisting with the necessary clearance arrangements.
