The Yorkshire Job starts today at Elvington Airfield. First challenge: down the airstrip and back at an average of 43mph. How far is it? Start fast? Finish slow? Who knows? Penalty points expected. 😉

Thank you very much to everyone who helped us (Team 31) to contribute to this magnificent total.

The final totals are in, and we just want to say a massive well done and thank you to all those who have taken part in fundraising for The Italian Job 2019, raising a whopping £190k for Buttle UK! A special mention goes to Argo Group who were our top fundraisers for the event as well as Team 53! 🚗

With only £96k to go until The Italian Job reach their next fundraising milestone of £3 million, we're hoping this year's event will be even bigger and better!

After Rome we drove to Caserta, up Vesuvius as far as they let cars go, Tuscany, Monza, Turin, Mont-Cenis pass, Mulhouse, Strasbourg, St Quentin and we’re now on the Eurotunnel Calais Terminal train, heading back to Royal Lancaster London to celebrate.

Yesterday (Friday) we gave the Minis a well earned rest and headed by minibus to the centre of Rome for the IJ treasure hunt. It was a beautifully hot, sunny day and accompanied by Teams 18, 32 and 45 we found the twelve locations on the map, answered some quite tricky questions as best we could, sampled Roman gelato (rude not to!), enjoyed a relaxing team lunch along the way and returned to the hotel, happy with our day’s “work”.
