A couple of OEM black carpet kits done this past couple of weeks

One for a F56 that went to America and one for a R52 that was collected by a customer and fitted by myself

The OEM carpet ones are £100 and if you collect it ill fit it for free
Takes around 5 minutes

Ok lets talk about materials guys and gals

Been asked a lot lately about the type of wood and materials that are used for the kits

Each kit is made from 18mm chipboard and then cut to precise shape for the model of your mini

Ie R50 R52 R53 R56 F56

Then upholstered using the best quality suede
Leather
Diamond stitch leather
OEM carpet material
Or just a lovely fabric material

So you have a very wide choice of fabrics and colours to choose from

The leather and suede and OEM carpet fabrics are placed on top of the cushioned wadding (see pic) to create a lovely padded effect
The diamond cut leather is already cushioned (as per the photos)
