Seeing as I'm an absolute embarrassment to myself with working out how to send links to former pupils, I'll give anyone interested an update on how the year has gone so far...
Since January I've said a very proud goodbye to the following people, who now get to enjoy the open road without me nagging in their ear!
JB, fantastic first time pass at a test centre about an hour and a half away. Long day but worth every bit of effort, and I think the banana helped!!
HC, first time pass with just two driving faults. A fellow horsey person which is always a joy for me to teach.
CM, first time pass with two faults. Great job, I'm missing the cheeky banter. Sorry that my phone connected to the car as I approached for the debrief and you were blasted with country music! Whoops!
EB, second go for EB after a silly mistake on the first attempt. Your mum has been in touch since you passed to say she barely sees you now that you've got your well earned licence. Pleased you're enjoying it.
PF, so much fun teaching PF and helping them get their licence first time. Still haven't driven past you for a wave yet though!!
TW, second test attempt with me after going the whole hog with another instructor and it not working out. Out of area test and we were on some insanely narrow roads on the way there. The hard work paid off though and I love your yellow car!!
DO, first attempt, fab result. I've never been in a test centre waiting room where candidates are swapping phone numbers talking job opportunities!! The other guy passed as well, hope he got the job too!!
FW, had to laugh when the examiner told you that you'd passed and you said thank you like he'd just held a door open for you!! So polite, an absolute pleasure teaching you. FW is the sixth person I've taught from one extended family so although I've said goodbye to you hopefully I'll still get to hear how your getting on if I get the honour of teaching your cousins.
Sorry for the long post, well done if you got through it!! Thank you for reading xx
