N47 Turbo Replacement!
Always crucial to perform independent diagnostics on a car before carrying out any form of repair, but in this case it was spot on. The cause of this failed turbo however is likely down to poor servicing. Turbos are heavily dependant on oil and skipping servicing is a one way ticket to premature failure. Not to mention other components within the engine such as the timing chain that you can hear rattling away at the end!
