🏆 Donington Park was a British Truck Racing Championship weekend that had it all for Bowler Truck Racing Team – with plenty of highs, blazing temperatures, and a few challenges too. Overall, though, John drove superbly, earning trophies and bagging valuable championship points.
In race one, John initially finished on the podium, but track-limits penalties dropped him out of contention. In the next race, the MAN TGX driver started in P5 and moved up to P3 after an early jostle for position. Although he dropped a couple of places, he finished an encouraging P5.
Starting race three from P3 due to reverse grid results, John showed great pace and perseverance to finish P2. This secured a podium and crucial championship points.
From silverware to a sandwich! John was caught between the fast Reid brothers! Despite the intense pressure, he remained calm and improved his position, ultimately finishing P4 and gaining more championship points.
🚩 The final race was marred by chaos, with red flags issued due to incidents, including a serious accident where a truck overturned. Fortunately, all drivers were unharmed.
