BMW 3 SERIES 🚗

💧The customer has been suffering from a slow coolant leak which he couldn't find.

🔸 Carried out cooling system pressure test
🔸 Immediately found the leak from a coolant fl**ge
🔸 Parts ordered and due in next day 👍🏻

We'll be back soon to carry out the repairs.

👌🏻 Last minute customer reached out they needed the car sorted for her dad.

1999 BMW E36 Revived 💪🏻

Short backstory:
The vehicle didn't move for 10 years. Fuel pump was replaced and new fuel added.
It would crank but wouldn't start.

🔸 Simple inspection and diagnosis of the fuel delivery system
🔸 Fuel pressure tested good 👍🏻
🔸 Fuel injector command tested
🔸 Fuel injectors tested and FAILED ❌

On the spot injector testing showed All 6 injectors were stuck and not responding.

✅ We've replaced all 6 fuel injectors, cranked it and it started straight away 😄

The customer was very happy with the efficiency of our diagnosis and repair

Vauxhall Zafira 1.4 Turbo 🚗
This had multiple issues following an oil cooler replacement in another garage💧
🔸 We've identified exhaust leak
which is a big problem as it's not going to pass an MOT
🔸 The vehicle had low power and wasn't accelerating
💻 Diagnostic showed one fault for Engine Under boost

Further inspection found the turbocharger waste gate was de-adjusted and always open, wouldn't allow turbo to create boost.

🔸The waste gate was removed and adjusted correctly.
🔸Road test and live data confirmed the issue was resolved and acceleration was restored
😏 This must have happened when the turbo was removed

Intermittent misfire on cylinder 1

🔸 Another garage diagnosed a bad connection in the wiring plug for injector n.1
🔸 But they said they don't do electrical work and it needs an auto electrician so they temporarily fitted some cable ties around it.
⚡ The customer got in touch and we were happy to book him in
🔸 After connector removal I found the plug pins very loose.
🔸 Using a small instrument, plug pins were tightened up. This took no more than 5 min
👍🏻 Issue was resolved and the misfire stopped
✅ As a precaution I have checked and tightened up all remaining 3 injector plugs so the issue doesn't re-appear on any of the cylinders anymore.

👌🏻 This really didn't need a specialist to repair nevertheless I'm happy the customer booked us in it it was repaired properly

🔸 Wiring integrity checked
Currently the fault wasn't present and we couldn't replicate it/get it act up when testing even road-test was perfect.
👌🏻 The customer will be in touch if the fault reappear later we'll do a follow up

For now full reset and it's good to go
