Just got back from Kit Fest at Santa Pod and before I post anything else about it I need to say a massive thank you to this guy!
I limped onto the site after having a very stressful journey down. A rear wheel bearing had collapsed and was causing horrendous bangs and grinding noises! I honestly didn’t think we were going to make it and I was sure I was going to have to get the truck recovered as at the time I didn’t know what was wrong or where the noise was coming from. Within minutes of grinding into the event, the absolute legend that is Steve had the problem diagnosed and his tools out ready to strip it down! The bearing was destroyed but he managed to remove it, got the part numbers and ordered new bearings from a local supplier. I went in the RB to pick them up and in no time Steve had them fitted and the truck was fixed!
So massive thanks to Steve and Trevor from the north west kit car owner’s group for putting on an awesome show and their team spirit to help a brother out! 🙏🏻💯
