🔧 Chrysler 300C – Rear Wishbone Replacement 🔧
Another job completed and another potentially dangerous suspension failure put right! 🚗💨
This Chrysler 300C came in with a snapped rear wishbone, which had failed badly enough to move into the wheel area and pierce the tyre. The old wishbone was severely corroded and had completely failed, making the vehicle unsafe to drive.
🛠️ The job:
✅ Removed the failed rear wishbone
✅ Removed the damaged suspension components
✅ Fitted a new replacement wishbone
✅ Reassembled and secured the suspension
✅ Checked the surrounding components and wheel area
✅ Checked the suspension for correct operation
The difference between the old and new components speaks for itself — the original wishbone had suffered extensive corrosion and structural failure.
