Busy day yesterday on Lee Holland.
4 Car Team.
Mick & Jordan R53 - Chris & Victoria R53 - Gary & Mathew R53 and Wes & Andrew R50
So how did it go.
Conditions were tricky and variable throughout the day.
Mick and Jordan were in their new R53 and we were still finishing the brake set up on the Saturday fitting what we all felt were the best pads as running R56 brakes in the build. Good range of Pirelli tyres gave us lots to think about but they were amazing. However a jump start penalty, which was strongly questioned and a stage maximum for missing a split lost the crew a certain top twenty finish which could have been some result on its first outing for the budget 53 racer. Chris and Victoria sat in the car for the first time on SS1 and whilst they didn't set the world on fire they found the new R53 a pleasure and lots of smiles in such tough weather conditions. Gary and Matt again had tyres choices using MRF which were great but started to wear quickly so went to a harder tyre. A small coming together with some stage furniture was their only down of the day. Wes & Andrew started the day on new Falkens and again changed to harder Toyo's with no time gain but the Falkens live for another day. The result was one the crew are famed for, a consistent no drama event.
We are now looking at Cadwell in April for another mini adventure.

We have a drive available on the Isle of Man Manx Rally May 8 - 9 in one of our 4 car team of R53 Mini's.
Entries open 9th of February

With running four identical cars, costs are very much reduced with one van kitted with all spares etc and whose crew looks after all cars.
Also saving on travel and accommodation.
Full liaison and stage insurance.
We cover Fuel, tyres in fact everything leaving the driver to drive.
