It was a hot one at Halifax Show on Saturday☀️🎪😎

We were in full sun for the first hour or so...so nothing was out on display. The sun moved round and the goods came out. Not suprisingly, the brownies were slow to go but the strawberries went at a pace🍓.

Not a bad day in the end, considering.

Thank the Lord i'm not baking this week. Temp in my kitchen is already hitting 28° and that's without the oven on 🥵. Back to baking next week for Arthington Show on the 23rd. I really hope the kitchen has cooled down by then!🤞

Lately...

Birstwith Show was new for us...slow start but a great end. We hope to return next year. We have been doing lots of office/workplace pop ups...not so many markets. I have my reasons. Want us to pop up at your workplace? Just ask.

Took a short break to enjoy some delicious food and a sea view (not at the same time though). If you're ever Angelsey way and in need of a donut, may I suggest heading for Melin Llynon. Just aim for the windmill and ask for a Monut🍩

And if you fancy cooling off by a lake, The Ice Cream Drive Through in Chester is definitely worth pulling over for🍦.

If you want a reccy for ribs and brisket, I know a great place in Manchester🐄😋.

Anyway, posts may be sporadic but we are here baking and selling...in amongst real life dramas, A and E visits and the more mundane aspects of life🥴
