Last test before going on holiday and it’s the 3rd pass of the week 😁

This time it’s Tom who passed his test with only ONE minor fault so very nearly the perfect drive.

Really great drive Tom and a thoroughly deserved solid pass.

2 tests today and 2 passes.

The 2nd pass was from the brilliant Stacey who drove really well, on a long and complex route, and passed with only a handful of minor faults.

Well driven Stacey. You’ve got a great summer to look forward to now and should be really proud of what you’ve achieved.

Passing a driving test in a car that you have learnt in and are used to driving is hard enough .....

But Ella just passed in my car having only driven it for 45 minutes before her test.

Her instructor (another LDC instructor) was rushed to hospital yesterday and asked me if I could step in and help.

So of course I did.

I met Ella for the first time 45 minutes before her test and she spent that time getting used to the car and familiarising herself with the controls.

The she went and performed brilliantly and passed her test with just a handful of minors ..... which is really impressive given the circumstances.

Really well done Ella. I'm glad to have helped.

What a drive from Amir 👍👍👍

Ocassionally I’m asked to sit in the back of the car which is what happened today.

And I’m glad I did because I watched Amir drive brilliantly to pass his test in Newtown with just a tiny number of faults.

I knew you would do it Amir. We just had to convince you that you could.

Safe driving my friend and I hope to see you and mum / dad soon.

CHANGES TO THE DRIVING TEST (from 09/06/2026) 🚗
From Tuesday, 9th June 2026, learner drivers will only be able to move their driving test to nearby test centres.
If you book a new test from this date, you will only be able to move your test to:
• any of the 3 centres nearest to where your test is booked
• the test centre you first booked at on that current booking
If you have an existing booking, the new rule will apply to where your test is booked at, on 9th June – not where you first booked. 🚗

A really special pass to finish off a great week.

Jodie absolutely nailed it today and passed her test with only 3 minor faults after a great drive.

Go and get that horse box now Jodie and treat yourself this evening. You should be hugely proud of what you’ve achieved. I am 😊
