Green Light Nationals

MK3 Golf R32

An amazing weekend for Josh, in qualifying he achieved the perfect reaction award with a 0.0006 reaction on the tree! Josh came 7th over all in qualifying

We then went onto eliminations where Josh faced some tough competition but managed to succeed and get a bye into the final🏆

In the final we went head to head with Harry Gamble, Josh went onto win Green Light Nationals!

The time, effort and sacrifices that goes on behind the scenes and on the track from Josh and everyone who joins us has paid off🥇

Replacement Seat Ibiza Cupra

A busy weekend at Santa Pod for Aaron, luckily Lauren saved the weekend with her car as a replacement (thanks Lauren) after the van broke earlier in the week meaning Aaron could not tow the Golf to Santapod

A 13.98 @ 100.72mph from the first two runs, with a best 0.1024 reaction and 13.9815 ET. Unfortunately, the car then struggled getting into 2nd and the paddle clutch made launching tricky. Out in the first round of eliminations, but plenty learnt!

Bug Jam

MK3 Golf R32

A successful weekend for Josh, the consistently from Josh and the Golf throughout the weekend was amazing, Josh sat at the 12.7 mark throughout most of the weekend and Q4 dialled a 12.75 and got a 12.78 and the exact same in the eliminations round one which Josh was successfully through to the next round. In round two of eliminations Ed got through who has had a lot of history versing the Golf.

MK5 GTI

An amazing weekend for Aaron not only did he get a new PB of 13.738, he then qualified 4th with a 14.12 on a 14.1 dial in, he then went onto get his first trophy and bringing it back for the JRL team by winning Bug Jam! Rookie of the year is definitely in reach for Aaron after this event!

The PRO verse Sportsman shoot out the JRL team went head to head, Josh won the shoot out and PRO won overall.

Summer Nationals

MK3 Golf R32

The weekend started out rough for Josh, on Friday in Q1 Josh’s coolant temp sensor failed meaning Josh could not go onto the track till the Saturday - He then fixed this throughout the night - Saturday we were crossing everything the car would work and it did! Josh even got two new PB’s. On Sunday Josh got 3 more PB’s, got into the semi finals, came 3rd overall and finished on another PB - 12.57 on a 12.55 dial in - Considering the weekend started off not so good we had a great outcome - Thank you to all that helped Josh over the weekend!

MK5 GTI

Aaron started off Q1 with a new PB being 14.195 on a 14.19 dial in this was only start for his PB’s for the weekend - Aaron then held number 1 qualifier until the Saturday. Aaron hit 5 new PB’s over the weekend with the final one being a 13.96 on a 13.9 dial in - Aaron had a great weekend overall and is definitely finding the groove of the GTI - Onwards and upwards for Aaron.

Spring Speed Nationals

Good results for the MK5 GTI new PB for Aaron

-14.23
-Made it to 3rd round of eliminations
- A great start to Aaron’s first year in drag racing, his aim is to achieve rookie of the year

Learning weekend for the MK3 VR6 R32

-Considering this was last driven by Josh at the age of 18 as the first car he drove after passing his test and went straight onto the track
- Josh has had a weekend of achievements and learning the car
