Since I haven’t posted here in a while, this is the current state of the car after some restoration work and a few upgrades.

Honda S2000 project

Apart from regular servicing, the S2k wasn’t upgraded for some time now.

Since it serves my daily duties, I wanted to do an audio upgrade for some time now. It’s already got a Kenwood source from its previous ownership, so it was only decided to upgrade the factory speakers.

A set of Focal low depth component speakers is chosen, together with the necessary adaptors in order to fit in the factory door locations for both woofer and tweeter.
Fortunately, the crossover also found its place on the door frame too.

Once everything was fitted, a quick audio test showed significant difference from the factory 15yo speakers (as expected..).

This was just the restart of the S2000 project as more updates on interior, wheels & chassis are coming soon!
