* First Time Pass * for Jacob down at the test centre in Warrington this morning.

Maximum focus was the order of the day, working hard to maintain composure, and bring all that training to the fore when it mattered most.

Congratulations Jacob, happy car hunting and I’ll see you out on the road soon.

* First Time Pass * for Chloe down at the test centre in Warrington earlier this morning. No amount of rain or pre-test jitters was going to get the better of you today…. You smashed it!

Congratulations and now go enjoy the independence driving brings.

* First Time Pass * for Max down at the test centre in warrington earlier today. 👏

Honestly Max, if you’d been any more chilled on the drive out before your test I’d have been putting the heater on in the car! 😂

Such composure, and you retained that calm persona to deliver a cracking drive. Striking that balance across professional tuition with private practice, really helped you finesse your drive.

safe, # stay safe

* First time pass* for Rob down at the test centre in Warrington earlier today.

A great attitude to learning and Rob was always willing to give an honest account of his own progress and go back and work on areas where he needed to.

Credit must go to to Rob’s former instructor Shelley Millar too, who was instrumental in Rob’s learning journey and developed that real foundation from which he could go onto build and refine his skills to the test standard drive he delivered today.

Saturday marked the end of a ‘Golden Era’ for Howarth Driver Training.

You see, every lad in the picture below has played for Woolston Golds Rugby League team alongside my Son (bottom right). They’ve all had my lads back at some point on the field over the years and for that I’m grateful.

Over the last ten years I’ve seen these boys turn into fine young men, with parents and coaches bringing out the very best in each and every one of them. To then see each one take a seat alongside me and go onto pass their driving tests has been a real privilege.

Some of these lads are now enjoying highly successful playing careers with Super League clubs, some are already serving King & Country in our Armed Forces, with others heading into public service with the Fire Service or off to University where I have no doubt they will go onto secure rewarding career paths in the years to come.

To all these great lads, keep driving safe, and continue to smash everything you do, like you all did/still do on the rugby field.

To all their parents and families who trusted me to teach your Son’s thank you 👍

Still need a few more Props on my books though for a Howarth Driver Training X111 …. 😆

Diary is open…. 😜

* First Time Pass and Zero Faults* for Tom down at the test centre in Warrington earlier this afternoon.

Such a lovely smooth drive, bringing all that training to the fore to deliver the drive both Tom and I knew he was capable of.

The positive comments and praise from your examiner at the end of your test were thoroughly deserved.

Now go and enjoy driving yourself to your rugby coaching and games ….
