This is the story of this bike, I bought this bike out of Kestrel Honda when they went into receivership, the bike was bought as spares non runner. Along with the bike came the service history, logbook and a stack of paperwork. It seems the bike went into Honda as the owner had lost the keys. Now this is hard to believe but someone had had a key made which fitted the ignition but did not engage the fuel pump, (no chip on the key) lhad a new set of coded keys made for the bike and it started first press of the button. I then bought another two vfr’s to use as parts (both manual), anyway I have built one and stripped one. The one I stripped was engine failure and came with the red Bodykit and genuine colour coded luggage. Which I have fitted.
Bike seems to have been fitted with brand new discs, down pipes are excellent, fitted with after market silencer but brand new OEM silencer comes with the bike. Only thing missing is the lower panels I have two set of manual but Dct are different. And the right silver side panel trim doesn’t look right. Saying that I will MOT the bike for the new owner. This bike is overall excellent condition, receipts for over a 1000 pounds worth of work including valve clearances.
