😎 POLITE REMINDER 😎
At Lil's Lodge we pride ourselves in bringing you affordable holidays in our newly renovated caravan as we know how tough the cost of living is right now.
If you have been lucky enough to have a booking with us (as we are fully booked until September) then we do ask just a couple of courteous actions from you please ❤️
1. Please try and leave the caravan as you find it.
Its costs us £50 each time for a cleaner (extra if you have requested bedding) and they are not here to do your washing up, clear your rubbish, scrub your food off the oven or wash the walls due to little hands painting them.
2. Lots of added extras are provided for your arrival in case you have not have had time to go shopping. This includes, pasta, condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, kitchen roll and more.
You are of course welcome to use all of these on your arrival but we kindly ask that you replace anything that has been used excessively. This helps us ensure the next guests can also benefit from these as we are not always here to check levels.
🎁 We also provide a welcome basket with some goodies for you. If any of the contents are not to your taste, feel free to leave them for the benefit of future guests.
3. Please only take items home with you that you have purchased/bought with you and not what we provide for your use.
If you want to make a gesture of leaving non perishables for future guests, then you may of course do so. Thank you to those of you that have done this already. You know who you are 😊
👏 The majority of our guests are fabulous but we have had the odd moan from the cleaner where it has taken additional time to prepare the caravan for the next guests and we then get charged extra.
We have even had dirty plates and bowls put back into a cupboard (without being washed) which is unacceptable.
We don't like having to make posts like this but if you think about the cost of your holiday....then minus the cost of the cleaner, gas, electric, the welcome basket and all the available extra's including all the cleaning materials, we aren't renting this out for a massive profit like some companies do. We simply charge to help towards the annual ground rent and offer affordable holidays to those who may be struggling.
We are now approaching our busiest time of the year so kindly ask for everyone to be courteous when using our family caravan which has been purchased in memory of our late mum/grandma.
