📢 Remember that from tomorrow (31 March), you will only be able to make 2 changes to a car driving test booking.

A change counts as:
✅ changing the date or time
✅ changing the test centre
✅ swapping your appointment with another learner who has a test booked

If you need to make more changes after you have used your 2 changes, you will need to cancel your test and book a new one.

This image is such a simple but powerful reminder of something most drivers think they understand… but often do not apply properly.

Your mirrors do not show you everything.

The rear view mirror gives you a narrow, central picture of what is directly behind.

Your left and right mirrors widen that picture.

But those red areas?

Those are your blind spots.

They are real.
They are bigger than people think.
And they are exactly where motorcyclists, cyclists and small cars disappear.

Peripheral vision helps.
Mirror checks help.
But neither replaces a proper shoulder check before changing lane or moving off.

Too many collisions happen because someone says,
“I did not see them.”

The truth is often:
You looked.
You just did not look properly.

Mirrors are information.
A glance over your shoulder is confirmation.

If you are relying only on mirrors, you are guessing.

And guessing at speed is not driving.
It is gambling.

Get ready for the driving test booking rule changes. 🚗👇

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to make 2 changes to a practical car driving test booking.

A change includes:

A wonderful way to end 2025, first time pass for Katelynn.

Honestly one of my favourite students, always has a larger than life smile every lesson and worked so hard to overcome her initial nerves with driving.

Helping students who struggle with overthinking and nervousness to become confident happy drivers really has to be the best part of my job.
