We are ramping up for the end of the year, now steaming through Q4 into H1 of 2027 😮‍💨

🐝 Strategy session to set up structure, Founder objectives and profit targets for the quarter
✒️ Created 3 Capability Frameworks with 16 job descriptions, building 4 new teams ahead for Q2 27
🤝 3 Networking events talking about Employment Law updates and changes
🚂 9 trains over the week (anyone want to be our friend with a helicopter 🚁?!)

Seeing out the end of Q3 is always an exciting and busy time. Now is a reset ahead of the final push for Q4 and this is what we’ve been focusing on this week! 🙌

From leadership sessions on performance to sales training for Business Development Managers to Pulse Survey results that are the best I’ve ever seen to restructing a team to create 2 new departments with 8 new roles - this week has been MEGA.

What a week. A huge thank you to our wonderful clients and the incredible consultants that support our growth too. They work hard on giving our clients that special People feel: when you know your people are profitable! ⚡️

Your leaders can’t hit a target they can’t see. 👀 🎯

So you’ve set up your End of Year reviews, but have you remembered your leadership team? Leadership objectives must be directly aligned with business goals - ideally profit or gross margin at the very least. 🙌

When your leaders know exactly what they’re working towards (and why it matters commercially) everything else follows. Better decisions, clearer priorities, stronger results.

Set the objectives now and align them to the end of year targets. You won’t regret it!

A week jam-packed with meeting our clients, getting their Q4 plans set up and building compliance pillars ahead of October’s Employment Law changes.

☕️ South Lodge for three back to back client meetings for people support (they bring a list and we run through the burning points)
🍔 Lunch burgers to discuss Board sales targets and profit margins for Q4 and new product training
👀 HAYDENSWAN Eyecare talk all about eye sight… Apparently this is supposed to be a butterfly?!
💜 Vineyards in Groombridge with café, tasting room and tours for the incredible Claire Nash Solicitors team meeting and I ran a really fun team session

This week has been a mixture of supporting with people strategy, 2027 resource plans, salary benchmarking to Contracts of Employment, grievance support and a handful of wellbeing calls. 🙌

What a week it has been - and we are dancing into the weekend! 🪩

As we near the end of Q3, now is the perfect time to get ready for end of year reviews!

Our top tips:
⚡️ schedule check-ins for the end of September with your team
⚡️ use these check-ins to set goals to the end of the year with intention and profit-focus
⚡️ review individual development plans and make sure any agreed actions have been kept to
⚡️ draft a 360° feedback process for the end of year reviews
⚡️ placehold a week in December now to protect review time slots now

Getting ahead now will pay you back in dividends come the end of the year! 🙌

This week has been glorious - from supporting clients with new Contracts, Handbooks, compliance foundations and starting retainers, Mark has also had a jam-packed week of networking and meeting new people across the South East ("FORE" Business, Network My Club .

This week has been a wild one! Mainly based from home, 34 calls, 3 Board meetings and 2 training sessions, this is our only photo from the week 🙃 we promise to better next week!

We have had some really exciting meetings this week - from clients wanting to grow, clients giving the green light for development and progression frameworks through to supporting new Values being launched. What. A. Week.
