After having to down tools for many years through Dave’s illness I am extremely proud and very happy to be starting up again thanks to the support and involvement of my beautiful friend David Burrough.
The build now has proper footings and work is under way to restore the yard to a working site. We won’t be able to build boats as the amazing Dave Johnston did but we will find our way, it’ll involve a pea green boat, an owl and probably a pussycat searching for a runcible spoon. Life is a wonderful wonderful journey.
