🥩 Sunday Carvery
The clocks go back on Sunday, so enjoy the extra hour in bed and leave Sunday dinner to us. A carvery with all the trimmings in the Empress Suite, trackside.

100 years since the very first Derby in 1927, the 2027 Betway Towcester English Greyhound Derby will see the winner take home £125,000, with £224,000 in total prize money.

The English Greyhound Derby is staying at Betway Towcester for the next five years, from 2027 to 2031.

And 2027 is a big one. It marks 100 years since the very first Derby was run in 1927, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you.

It's official! 🏆

We're delighted to announce that the Greyhound Board of Great Britain has awarded the English Greyhound Derby to Betway Towcester Racecourse for the next five years, covering 2027 to 2031.

First staged in 1927, next year's Derby marks the centenary of the sport's biggest fixture. It's a landmark year, and we're proud to be the home of it.

Dates for the 2027 English Greyhound Derby will be confirmed soon. Follow our page so you're the first to know.
