We genuinely use this more than our caravan oven! 🙌

Because we love a one-pan or one-pot meal, the electric skillet has become one of our go-to cooking gadgets on tour. Whether it’s a hearty breakfast, a family pasta dish, a curry, or a quick stir-fry, it makes cooking easy, convenient, and keeps the washing up to a minimum.

It’s either this or our Cadac paella pan that gets the most use when we’re away in the caravan. Simple, delicious meals with minimal fuss – exactly what caravanning is all about.

One pan, endless meal ideas, and more time spent enjoying your holiday.

Have you got one of these? Or would you use one?

It’s the caravan debate that always splits opinion… 🚐💦

Jet washing your caravan – perfectly safe when done correctly, or an expensive mistake waiting to happen?

Some owners swear by it for getting years of grime off in minutes, while others wouldn’t let a pressure washer anywhere near their pride and joy for fear of damaging seals, decals, or causing water ingress.

Where do you stand on the great caravan jet wash debate? 👀

This still has to be one of my favourite caravan photos of all time. ❤️

Sat on Millionaire’s Row at Wirral Country Park Caravan & Motorhome Club Site, watching the kids tuck into their pizza while the sky put on an incredible show of pinks and oranges. Moments like these are what caravanning is all about – slowing down, spending quality time together, and appreciating views that money simply can’t buy.

It’s not always about the destination; sometimes it’s those simple evenings, good food, happy kids, and unforgettable sunsets that become the memories you treasure forever. 🌅🍕

Now here’s a sight you don’t see every day… it would be Oli’s dream!! 🚐😲

Imagine if this was legal in the UK — towing a jet ski trailer behind your caravan. For many caravanners, it would open up a whole new world of adventures, making it easier to bring along boats, jet skis, bikes and other leisure equipment without needing a motorhome or separate vehicle.

But should it be allowed?

Showmen are permitted to tow multiple trailers under certain regulations, so should experienced caravanners have the same opportunity? Or would the added length, manoeuvring challenges and safety considerations create too many risks on UK roads?

We’re genuinely interested to hear both sides of the argument.

Should towing a trailer behind a caravan be made legal in the UK? What challenges or benefits do you think it would bring?

Caravanning with friends is basically two completely different holidays rolled into one… 😂

The kids spend the day running around, making new friends, burning off endless amounts of energy and creating memories they’ll never forget. Meanwhile, the adults are counting down the minutes until the chairs are out, the drinks are poured and someone says, “Shall we get another bottle?” 🍷☀️

Honestly, the caravans are great, but it’s the people that keep us coming back. Good friends, lots of laughs and weekends that never seem to last long enough ❤️

Who else thinks caravanning is better with friends?

🚽 Is this the future of caravanning?

Emptying the caravan toilet has never been easier! On our recent stay at Riverside Caravan Holiday Park, we gave the CamperClean machine a go and, for just £2, it emptied, cleaned, and refilled the cassette with fresh chemical in a matter of minutes.

We’ve seen different prices at different sites – it was £4 when we used one at Love to Stay – but for £2, we think it’s fantastic value for the convenience alone. No rinsing, no mess, no fuss… just press a button and let the machine do the hard work.

For us, it’s definitely worth it, especially on longer trips when anything that makes life easier is a win! 🙌

But what do you think? Would you happily pay to use a CamperClean, or do you prefer doing it the traditional way? Is this the future of caravanning, or just an unnecessary luxury?

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in caravanning, it’s that the “perfect” caravan doesn’t exist… unless it’s perfect for YOU. 🚐✨

Choosing a caravan is such a personal decision. What works for one family might not work at all for another, and that’s exactly why we always say you should buy the layout that suits your lifestyle, not someone else’s.

For us, the Swift Elegance Grande 850 was love at first sight. 😍

Before we even stepped inside, we were completely sold on the exterior. Swift have done an incredible job with the design. The sleek modern styling, futuristic rear end, striking LED lighting and those stunning 17-inch alloy wheels make it look unlike any caravan we’ve owned before. Every time we arrive on site, we still find ourselves looking back at it!

Then we stepped inside…

We’ve always dreamed of having an L-shaped lounge, and the moment we saw it, we knew this caravan was going to be hard to beat. The layout just works perfectly for us as a family. We have our fixed rear bed ready to jump into at the end of the day, while the front lounge can become either a huge double bed or two comfortable singles for the kids.

Add in the massive central bathroom, the fantastic kitchen area and all the little touches that make touring easier, and it genuinely ticked every single box on our wish list.

6 Months on, we still wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️

So we’re curious… what was the one feature or layout that sold your current caravan to you?
