Mercedes Benz W205:

Another successful repair completed at RevTech Autos Ltd

Mercedes-Benz came in with automatic gearbox issues.
The transmission was removed, the ISM module replaced, and the EHS unit was carefully removed, cleaned, transferred into the replacement gearbox, and reinstalled back into the vehicle.

A full gearbox service was also carried out to ensure smooth operation and long-term reliability.

Vehicle is now back on the road performing as it should.

Mercedes Benz OM 651 engine:

Work carried out:

* Timing chain failure diagnosis
* Cylinder head removal and pressure testing
* Cylinder head skimmed (resurfaced)
* Full valve service (cleaning + lapping)
* Installation of a complete timing chain kit (chain, guides, tensioner)
* Replacement of hydraulic lifters
* Camshafts inspected and replaced where required
* New camshaft bearings installed
* Bottom end inspection
* Replacement of worn bearings (where necessary)
* Full engine reassembly with new gaskets and seals
* Engine timing set precisely
* Balance shaft timing correctly aligned (critical on OM651 engines)
* Oil system checked and verified
* Final testing and road test
