A Talbot Sunbeam we had in with front damage to repair which turned into a Interior paint and tidy up along with some engine work and new side paint and decals and paint wheel centres.

A wet Historic Rally Festival today but by mid afternoon it stopped and started to dry out, 5 stages done today with 10 to go tomorrow, tomorrow a dry day.

Rally report from Hoznayo last week. The week started with blazing sunshine for recce and shakedown, then Friday evening cars headed off for stage 1 with the warning of a heavy storm due in.
Stage 1 arrival all dry but 2 thirds into the stage a massive downpour, we were out on Hards and got caught out, a slide on a 3 left caused rear damage, return to service and miss stage 2. The crew did a great job with sledge hammers to get it clear of the wheel and plenty of duct tape got us back out. Sat on the start of stage 3 and red flags due to the car in front having a big off into the spectators. Rightly the stage was cancelled.
Saturday saw us head off to the mountains, most of the stages thick fog, it was steady away. Then stage 9 we had a issue half way through, a electrical fault caused us to stop in stage, but with the help of spectators and a women's hairpin we got going and made it to the end.
Not the result we were looking for but we made the finish. The hoards or spectators in the stages and lining the streets on the way back to service makes for a great atmosphere.
