The virtual showroom is now finished and ready to insert our sales inventory. I had a guy I know from India construct this showroom, all carried out via WhatsApp. We will be offering this service in the future to others, along with any 3D render the customer wishes to have.

As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for two garage semi-skilled employees to join our amazing team. Your main responsibilities will include:
Break down of engines, assisting our master mechanic in engine rebuilds including stripping heads, lapping valves, cleaning all the parts, valeting, washing customer & sales cars, assisting mechanics with their daily work, replacing disc & brake pads, replacing & fitting various parts. Additional training will be included

Working with a small team to improve processes and streamline preparation procedures.

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should have a good and reasonable knowledge and experience of working in on cars would be necessary. However, you will receive additional training.

You should be able to work from your own initiative as well as working closely with our mechanics and alone.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, pride in your work, have good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to reasonable deadlines.

As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for an Auto Welder / Fabricator to join the team. Your main responsibilities will include:
Preparation of vehicle body shells, including fitment of tubular reinforcement structures
Sheet metal fabrication and bodywork alterations modifications
Fabrication of substructures such as body alterations, chassis strengthening and roll cages.
Working with a small team to improve processes and streamline preparation procedures.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
You should have a good knowledge and experience of fabrication processes and equipment as well as being proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding experience would be extremely beneficial skill to any prospective candidate but not essential. Mechanical skills would also be an advantage.
You should be able to work from your own initiative as well as read and understand design renders and CAD drawings, and understand basic inspection and measurement tools.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, pride in your work, have good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to reasonable deadlines.

The main problem to get over as in the last pictures, is the Merc tailgate is curved and the 944 rear end is virtually square and hardly any distance to transfer the two shapes. So I have a great idea which I should add one I wanted to do from the beginning, but I didn't have the skills personally to do it. Raise the whole roof from the B pillar about 75mm and marry the two roof levels in like on my Disco last picture but one as that looks sic. Then we should have enough retail space to mould one to the other.

As this project is completely funded by myself and my pockets are not very deep at all, it has had to be put on the back burner but I'm hoping I can start it again late Spring early summer. However we've got an even bigger project starting in the Spring, building wide body 996 with 1,000bhp+

I just wanted you all to know that I've been pushing myself way to hard with all the mental hours and it has caught up with me as of last weekend I couldn't do anything being so exhausted. The six weeks left, in my mind is not achievable and I'm not one for rushing any job just so we hit the deadline. So, unfortunately we are not going to make the Silverstone show as wished for. I must admit it really disappoints me, but having to run a business and convert the shooting brake is not easy in that time scale. Plus it is also taking a sizable amount of money, especially with the respray and upholstery coming up shortly. So I'm still proceeding working on it weekends and evenings, just not working into the small hours as I have been as I have to look after my health, especially when I'm 62 this year. I'm sure you'll all appreciate that. At least now it will be ready way before the Classic Car Show at the NEC in November
and a good length of time to attend to any niggles etc. I'll post some more pictures of the recent progress made on Monday 👍😔

Some more progress with making the rear apertures, which the depth was different all the way around, so had to alter to the same depth to receive the rear windows which I've now had the idea to have them hinged like on the DB5 I saw on Sunday 😍
