🌟That’s a wrap on our 2026 Tatton Park shows 🌟

What a weekend. We’re absolutely blown away by the response to the recently restored TR250, and by the incredible interest in the E-Type as it begins its own journey.

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to get the cars ready for these shows. Weeks of preparation, transporting bare shells, countless hours of detailing and, believe it or not, 30 microfibres used on the TR alone this weekend!

There’s no 9–5 in this line of work — just hours spent chasing the smallest details, constantly looking for that last little thing that can be improved. We even stayed overnight with the cars, which probably says everything about the dedication we have to these vehicles and the lengths we’ll go to for them.

But honestly, every late night and early morning was worth it.

Seeing the reactions from everyone who visited, hearing your kind words and chatting with so many of you was fantastic. And to top the weekend off, coming away with an award made it all the more special. 🏆

A special thank you to everyone who came to see us and, importantly, respected the cars while they were on display. We really appreciate everyone taking the time to look, take photos and admire the work without attempting to touch the vehicles. It genuinely makes a huge difference when so much time and care has gone into getting them to this standard.

Most importantly, none of this would be possible without our amazing customers. The trust you place in us, and the time you allow us to spend getting every last detail right, is what enables us to produce work we’re genuinely proud of.

Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, supported us, shared the posts and made the weekend such a memorable one.

Now it’s time to get back to the workshop.

Here’s to the next one.

We are bringing along our most recent restoration - a Series 1 E-Type Jaguar that’s currently in the metalwork stage, along with a very special car that we restored a while back 👀

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

This week's update on the Series 1 E-Type.

Back on the jig after its acid dip, we're now into the metalwork repairs. We started on the offside, fabricating repair panels for the rear quarter and front bulkhead side.

Once the new panels were made, the rear quarter was carefully removed, allowing us to carry out a seamless repair with no visible welds. With that complete, we can now move on to repairing the inner structure before the rear quarter is finally refitted.

As always with a car of this calibre, we don’t buy panels, every repair panel is handmade to the car. Guaranteeing a perfect fit and the highest standard of repair - exactly what a car like this deserves.

Back from the acid dip and looking exactly how we like it – clean, bare metal.

The Series 1 Jaguar E-Type has now been stripped back, revealing every inch of the shell. The acid dipping process has exposed all the previous repairs, corrosion and any areas that need attention, allowing us to assess the car properly before any work begins.

With no hidden surprises under old paint or filler, we can now plan the repairs with complete confidence and start the metalwork the right way.

A new restoration begins...

After sourcing this beautiful Series 1 E-Type for a customer over a year ago, it's finally made its way into our workshops and the restoration journey is officially underway.

As with every project, the first step is a complete strip-down and careful cataloguing of every component. The bare shell has been sent for chemical dipping, removing decades of paint, filler and corrosion to reveal exactly what lies beneath. Starting with a clean, bare shell gives us the best possible foundation before the metalwork begins.

Every great restoration starts with meticulous preparation, and we're looking forward to bringing this iconic Jaguar back to its former glory. Follow along as we share each stage of the restoration.

🌟 Another incredible restoration completed and returned to its owner - this stunning Triumph TR250 has been quite the journey 🌟

On Friday we personally delivered the car down to Beaconsfield - an early start, but well worth it. We spent the day with the customer and the car enjoying a beautiful part of the country in a classic British sports car exactly as it was meant to be enjoyed.

Without doubt, it was one of the roughest TRs we’ve ever had through the workshop. There wasn’t a single panel on the body that didn’t require major repair or replacement, but after a full rebuild this car has been brought back to life exactly as it deserves.
Finished in its original Conifer Green with a beautifully trimmed light tan full leather interior, this TR250 now looks every bit as good as it drives.
The build also includes a full RHD conversion, overdrive, and fuel injection, transforming it into a proper driver’s car.
A huge amount of work has gone into this one, and we’re proud to see it back on the road where it belongs.
