ROUND 2 & TKM E PLATE INFORMATION

Keep those entries coming in for practice day and race day for the 5th and 6th July at Rissington Kart Club, we will be not only hosting our standard classes for racing but we will also be welcoming the prestigious TKM E plate round and also the Tyros!

We have been in contact with our local campsites & hotels to source a overnight option for you all and have the pleasure of offering the following options -

Hello Everyone!!

We hope you had a wonderful festive break and a very Happy New Year to you all! ✨

Please see below the 2025 Race Calendar! We still have 3 dates left available, these will be confirmed as soon as possible 🙂

Just for clarification, all Saturdays for the rounds will be open practice for all our classes with the race day being the Sunday.

As you can see we have moved our practice/club race days back to the start of the month, this is to avoid clashes with other circuits in the local area.

We are still working with the MOD regarding over night stays but as of yet there's still no change unfortunately. There are plenty of places in the local area that you can park up (motorhomes/caravans) or stay at hotel wise, please feel free to put your suggestions in the comments of this post to help other competitors when looking to attend the circuit, this will help to push up entries and provide better racing for all!

From design to reality🔥

These kart graphics look good off track but they look even better on track⚡️

Designed by me for Luke Boby’s 2023 season, to match his painted Arai Sk6, then produced and applied by using only the best materials to create the best finish🔥🔥

They certainly bought the attention to him on track as well as off track.

A wild design, complimented by his equally wild season on track 🌪️

Hi everyone! This accounts been pretty dead for about five years but I figured it was time for a fresh start with new ideas and a wealth of experience to go with it. The last time I logged onto this account I was still a uni student trying to make my way in the design world, since then I have moved slightly off track and moved into the world of signage and vehicle wraps with the brilliant . I have also taken on some freelance work designing logos for all different types of companies, all of which have gone on to be successful which I am very pleased about. Then most recently taking over the social media page of doing the posts using to make their posts stand out in the karting world!

Anyway, to anyone that’s still using their original accounts from uni, 👋🏼👋🏼 I hope you are all doing well and succeeding.

SKRC Round 4 - Easter Express

A good weekends racing Shenington Kart Racing Club - SKRC" saw a much needed turn around in form for myself and back in the big points in a chase for a podium in the championship.

Saturday testing showed that there was a turn in form and after some tweaks to the set up of the kart began posting some very good lap times proving that I could be back at the front on the Sunday.

Best Time of - 44.52

Sunday -

Warm up - A steady warm up to make sure all was working well and to check that the set up was good and ready for the heats.

Heat One - 3rd 🔻 4th

A very good heat one showed my pace was back, a solid start up to p2 on the first corner which I held for several laps until dropping into P3 where I stayed until the penultimate lap where I got overtaken into Stratford, I responded well but unfortunately as I went for the move into Wilkins, the Battenberg flag came out and we finished the race under the flag.

Heat Two - 11th 🔼 7th

A hectic start left me off track in cafe corner causing me to drop down the order, I fought back well and achieved a respectable 7th.

Heat Three - 11th ▶️ 11th

Not the best start on my part I miss judged the rolling start and struggled to come back to position however I battled through back to 10th and made a move for 9th however a move from the driver behind left me with no where to go other than off track and onto the grass dropping me down to P14, eventually recovering once again to P11.

Final

Starting P5, I made an okay start but got pushed down the order but recovered to P6 by lap 2 and went about going for P5, eventually making the overtake into Cafe corner and then set about P4, unfortunately I run out of laps for what could have been a P4 finish if only there was a couple more laps.

All in all I’m happy with my performance and it felt good to challenge back towards the front of the pack.
