Current job on the go, work in progress but we have a Virago 1100 in for some mechanical fettling and paintwork.

Jobs include:
Carb strip down and service
New ignition coils
Primary and Secondary Fuel tank rust removal and sealing
New rear fender struts made
Front batwing screen to fit

Paintwork to:
Fuel tank
Front fender and bracket
Rear fender
Side pods
Side covers

Frame also blown in with airbrush.

Still more to do but some photos so far.

New oil and filter fitted for the Deauville, just waiting on the air filter before fitting the bodywork back together.No...

New oil and filter fitted for the Deauville, just waiting on the air filter before fitting the bodywork back together.

Noticed the coolant expansion bottle was bone dry, so that has been topped up to the correct levels, will check fluids again after turning the bike over when it's back together before handover to the customer.

Honda Deauville looking far better after getting some TLC.

-Single Stage Machine Polish
-Plastics cleaned and dressed
-Painting of Forks, Mirror Stems, Swingarm, Centre stand, Sidestand, Disc inners
-All rusty fasteners painted

Now in for a service before hand back to the customer.

I think this customer's bike is a little overdue a service!

New oil, filter and air filter ordered up and the airbox to get fully cleaned out of leaves/debris.

Discs and pads are good and within serviceable condition.

Clutch cable needs some minor adjustment on the lower side of things too.

Honda Deauville in for a light refurb and paint of some parts due to rust and wear.

Up to now:

-Forks repainted
-Front Brake disc inners painted
-Side and centrestand wire wheeled, sanded and painted
-Swingarm wire wheeled to remove heavy rust and flaked paint and repainted
-Rear caliper pistons cleaned
-Mirror stems stripped of old paint, sanded and painted
-Various corroded fasteners around the bike painted

Tomorrow's job will be a full clean, single step machine polish and ACF50 coating prior to collection.
