One Down (almost), One to Go!

The first chair is nearly finished and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out in that beautiful dusky Rectory Blue—elegant, timeless, and made even better by being 100% recycled fabric.

Now it’s on to its twin! The second chair is mid-transformation, and I’m loving seeing the contrast between the “before” and “after” side by side. Bit by bit, these vintage beauties are being brought back to life with care, patience, and plenty of staples!

Can’t wait to see them finished as a pair. What do you think so far?

A Fresh New Look in Dusky Rectory Blue! 💙✨

The transformation is coming together! This once-worn chair now has a whole new personality, reupholstered in Rectory Blue—a beautifully soft dusky blue that adds a timeless elegance. And the best part? The fabric is 100% recycled, making this an eco-friendly refresh!

Still a few details left before the final reveal, but I’m already so happy with how it’s shaping up. What do you think—should I add any extra touches to bring it all together?

Not just one, but a PAIR of gorgeous vintage armchairs are getting a brand-new look! One is already stripped down and ready for it’s makeover, while the other patiently waits it’s turn. Upholstery projects like this are all about precision, patience, and a little creativity—so I can’t wait to see them transformed side by side.

This vintage armchair has seen better days, but not for long! With its elegant wooden frame and classic shape, it’s the perfect candidate for an upholstery makeover. I’m planning to strip it down, refresh the padding, and give it a brand-new fabric that will bring it back to life.

This enormous footstool/coffee table has been completely reupholstered and finished in the Pondicherry Sage fabric from The Pure Edit.

At nearly 1 metre square, with unique Arts & Crafts style Ball and Claw feet, and the large-scale print, this is a bold statement piece that would create an impact in any room. It’s also extremely functional – Footstool, coffee table, overflow seating, pets bed, crash landing pad, the list goes on and on.

The fabric is 100% recycled cotton.

Aged white frames, colour washed with a faint dusty blue, and newly upholstered with turquoise velvet seats. Lovely detailing on the front of the seat backs, and ball & claw legs (although some are incomplete)
