Prior to us servicing it, he said it should have been serviced regularly before he bought the car which was less than a year ago. However, the condition of the oil filter tells a different story as it was all clogged up. A customer got in touch with us and had a great concern about the brakes on the vehicle making a noise and gets worse during motorway driving. We inspected the vehicle braking system and found that the brake pads were worn down to the metal and caliper piston seized. A customer got in touch with us and had an Engine management light on the dash. We performed a diagnostic test on the vehicle and came up with a coolant thermostat issue. They said that it has been replaced around 6-12 months ago at their local garage. This leaves us to suspect that their local garage fitted a non-genuine thermostat. We wasted no time in ordering a genuine Vauxhall thermostat and fitted it at a time and a place that’s convenient for them. Another happy and satisfied customer.
