1978 Ferrari 308 GT4 ~ on eBay.

This Ferrari was bought by the seller a few years ago, and has been dry stored since.
The interior is pretty much intact, the dials are there and it shows under 45,000 miles on the clock.
The bodywork is a mixture of super lightweight "fresh air", mixed with some Italian rust, and the rest is steel or alloy. The bumpers have corroded away but still have the light housings in place.
The original history is with the car, it was sold by Cooper Car sales in Rothley, Leicester.
Finished in a rare Bianco Polo Park paint colour, with black interior which has faded to a navy blue finish. The car was fitted with wide wheels (the original wheels are still on the car and are very valuable as they also fit the the Carb GTB 308 cars).
The car obviously then was "off the road" and a replacement log book was issued in 1999. It shows three owners once then. The V5 Logbook is in my name along with keys which fit the locks.
This is an amazing piece to find. The seller also has another solid RHD 308 GT4 chassis that one day may be used to rebuild this car if it doesn't sell. Or happily offer it out as a project!
The original engine and gearbox have been stripped and are currently being rebuilt. The gearbox has had new synchros fitted, the engine has had new liners fitted, new pistons, the heads are are currently being rebuilt. This engine will be available with the car body if you want to acquire the original engine. But the cost will obviously be a similar price to the car body.
