PLEASE SHARE

We are looking to expand our small team here at RPM ENGLAND.

Key expectations 👇🏼👇🏼

The individual must be enthustic, reliable and have a strong work ethic. They must be accurate and carry out repairs to a high level. They must be able to work well within our small team but also happy to work unassisted. 

The works that we carry out 👇🏼👇🏼

- Service and repair works including but not limited to timing belts and clutch replacements

- Air conditioning servicing and repairs 

- Tyres

- Wheel alignment 

- Diagnostics and repairs

- Have the opportunity in assisting building and modifying track and show car builds 

Salary will be dependent on experience and competency. Working hours 09:00-17:00 Monday- Friday.

PLEASE SHARE

We are looking to expand our small team here at RPM ENGLAND.

We are looking for an individual to help Jamie organise work schedules with customer contact, order parts and consumables and create job sheets for the day ahead. Carry out quotes, invoicing and help keep the workshop efficient and organised throughout the day.

This position could be flexible for the right candidate and potentially be a part time role.

This MK3 Clio RS197 Cup was potentially a candidate to be stripped for parts meaning one less RS Cup on the roads. These cars are becoming reasonably rare and so we took this in and carried out some needed repairs and maintenance to keep it on the road!..

After a gearbox rebuild, some brake repairs and engine management repairs this RS Cup lives on and what a fantastic car it is!..

Many cars over the years that Jamie gets his hands on live on in his friendship group and this one is no exception. We absolutely love these opportunities and passing on the vibes to friends and family is what it's all about....another cool car ready to visit in August!

This Lexus received a full string 4 wheel alignment check and set up..

Firstly, we carry out a base check and discuss this with the customer before we decide on the set up. It was immediately obvious that the car would benefit with some added negative camber and with a base check of 7mm total toe out on the front, this also required attention. With the changes made, the handling was vastly improved with a more positive and confident inspiring cornering ability..

Correct wheel alignment for the intended use is often overlooked and can really change the feel of how the car feels and performs on the roads..

With doing an amazing job creating a build room space for us, this 2 now has a dedicated space for the work to commence and progress.. Thank you . Amazing work and fantastic team!

Next we will be lighting the area to allow us to carry out all works in a well lit and equipped environment..

This R53 is proving to be an incredibly impressive track car with its current modifications. We have used this car on track in stock form and have carried out the current modifications on a gradual basis. Doing this has been incredibly beneficial and indicated to us where and what the most noticeable improvements have been, step by step..

This car is certainly good to look at but is no show car, it's being built with a purpose. A purpose to go around circuits as quickly as possible with minimal spend, but spending it where it's needed the most, for the best possible results..

We also fabricate our own front bumper splitter kits for both the aero and standard bumpers, aswell as Radiator air plates and also splitter kits for the aero and standard bumpers for the R56. These will be available for purchase again in coming months. So if you have an R53 or an R56 and would like to know how we can help improve it's performance or maybe add an RPM splitter or Radiator air plate, drop us a message and we'll come back to you as soon as we can to help..

2024 was a quiet year for us on our social pages, but quite the opposite in our workshop...

2024 was an incredibly busy year with an increase of workload in our vehicle maintenance and repairs area. With this increase in workload meant further investment into the future of RPM ENGLAND and therefore more staff was required. I'd like to thank .lee who up until recently had been working alongside us several days a week, every week to support Jamie with the volume of work. Lee and Jamie have previously worked together over the years and Lee's support is seriously appreciated by us! Finding the right staff to complete work to a high standard that we are so passionate about providing and maintaining a professional approach to both the work and our customers can be difficult, but after several tough months we are now really pleased with our small team here at RPM ENGLAND and will continue to provide the same service!.

2025 will see us focus a little more on some projects that we currently have in our workshop as well as the RPM MR2 Turbo - This car is where it all began for us and deserves some needed focus, care and attention. We will also be continuing to provide you with general vehicle maintenance and repairs to your work/daily vehicles..

Here at RPM ENGLAND, we follow the correct manufacturer maintenance schedules. Often people do not realise that these vehicles have a service schedule for both the Haldex unit and DSG gearbox. Following the correct procedures and using our up to date diagnostic equipment we are able to do this for you. If your VAG vehicle has the DSG gearbox and/or the Haldex system, please do make sure yours has been looked after and serviced at the correct intervals. This is often overlooked in servicing..

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE..

The first image shows an oil filter removed from a vehicle that hadn't had an engine oil change for over 30,000miles!!
-
Maintaining your vehicle is possibly more important than you think.. Though many manufacturers now have extended service intervals with long life engine oils being used, here at RPM ENGLAND we recommend our customers to have their vehicles serviced more frequently than perhaps advised by the manufacturer (depending on the manufacturer), certainly oil changes. Engine oil degrades over time and loses its viscosity leading to engine component wear. Lack of oil changes can cause all sorts of problems including oil pressure issues, oil way blockages, DPF faults.....even complete engine failure! The MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do is change the engine oil and filter at regular service intervals. It's always been important to do this, but even more so with modern diesel and petrol engines with turbochargers and DPFs/CATs etc..

If you, or any of your friends or family tend to miss out on servicing their vehicle, explain to them the importance of this! Let's spread some awareness as unfortunately some don't believe or understand the importance of it..
