🎣 WHEN THE BOAT FISHING IS A NO-GO… WE HIT THE BANK! 🎣

When conditions keep the boat off the water, I like to fill my time on the bank with customers and friends — chasing that next bite that could just turn out to be a new PB! 💥🐟

On this particular session, I was trialling out some new Kuore Lures, and to say they performed well would be an understatement!

After catching plenty of perch, I ended up connecting with two beautiful chub — and on light tackle, they took off like absolute steam trains! 🚂💨 What a fight!

I always make a point of properly testing new lures before putting them in the hands of customers on guided sessions. I want to know they catch fish before I recommend them.

And after this session, one thing’s for certain…

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking a young lad, Seb, out on Ullswater for a day’s perch and trout fishing in the beautiful Lake District. 🏔️🎣

And what a day it turned out to be!

Seb absolutely smashed it, landing a new personal-best perch on lure and then topping the day off by catching his very first trout! 🙌
