This customer had a full service done on her 2018 Ford Focus 1.5 diesel back in October but was experiencing low oil pressure problems and lack of power and the light came on for an oil change. So we got the recommended oil (which is 0W20) and oil filter from Ford Gates. The condition of the oil filter that came out of the car suggests that either the filter was not changed in October like it should have been, or they had used the wrong grade of oil in this customers car.
Please try and confirm with the technician servicing your cars that they are using the correct oil that is recommended for your vehicle and that they have replaced everything you asked them to.

Catastrophic clutch failure on a mk4 VW Golf GTI, the clutch plate snapped all the way through (can also see how hot the plate got). This also caused three stress cracks in the DMF which meant that needing replacing as well (don’t have a photo unfortunately). The crankshaft seal transmission end had failed causing engine oil to leak into the bell housing.
Managed to get it all replaced on the customers driveway and the car back on the road.

New rear brake shoes and cylinders on a Ford Focus. The cylinder had leaked causing the shoes to get soaked in brake fluid reducing the braking ability. Got it all cleaned up and replaced and the car back on the road.

One of our very good customers had the drive belt snap when they were at Sterling corner so we managed to get them a new belt and go down there to get them on the way again, unfortunately the belt damaged the crankshaft oil seal so we got that sorted the following morning.
