🚗 7 Before & After Underside Transformations 🧊🔩
We've had lots going on in the workshop, with everything from Classic Porsches to farm-working Land Rovers.
Here are the details of a few of our recent favourites, what they needed, and a before-and-after photo of their treatment.
1️⃣ Porsche 911 SC - 1979
🔹 This came in for our underbody, wheel arches & engine bay package.
🔹 Arches had old cracked underseal that we stripped back, revealing a couple of hidden holes to address.
🔹 The underbody cleaned up beautifully, showing off its original cream factory finish.
🔹 Upgraded protection: Dinitrol 4941 to arches & Dynax UC to underbody for a crisp OEM look.
2️⃣ Porsche Flatnose Turbo - 1982
🔹This one-of-one came in for our underbody, wheel arches & engine bay package.
🔹 A classic kept in great shape with no major corrosion issues, but discovered some damage that an old fire had caused!
🔹 Stubborn arch underseal removed to reveal the original paint underneath.
🔹 Owner opted for Lanoguard as a short-term moisture barrier ideal for classics when topped up regularly.
3️⃣ Honda Civic Type R – 2015
🔹 Had been steam cleaned & Lanoguarded a year earlier, but the application was patchy and many areas were completely dry.
🔹 We blasted the underside, wheel arches, and engine bay, removing any sticky, half-cured Lanoguard.
🔹 Protected long-term with Dinitrol 4941 to underbody & arches.
4️⃣ Honda Civic Type R FD2 – 2008
🔹 Arrived with aftermarket underseal.
🔹 We removed it in our underbody, wheel arches package to reveal a genuinely rust-free underside... a very rare find.
🔹 Protected with Lanoguard for easy upkeep and seasonal top-ups.
5️⃣ Jeep Wrangler - 2018
🔹 In for our SOS Treatment, a lighter touch blasting session focused on MOT advisories or concern areas.
🔹 We targeted problem areas, such as the subframe, rust converted them and then protected with Lanoguard.
6️⃣ Toyota Hilux -2016
🔹 Daily driver showing early corrosion on leaf springs and subframe.
🔹 Full underbody & wheel arches blasting package.
🔹 Upgraded protection with Bilt Hamber Dynax UC for a clear, factory-style finish.
7️⃣ Range Rover L322 - 2012
🔹 Farm-used with heavy mud build-up hiding corrosion beneath.
🔹 Blasted underbody and wheel arches clean and removed all surface corrosion. We rust converted, and protected the underbody & arches with upgraded Clear Dynax UC.
